Day 1: Belize - Maya Mountain Lodge

Meet on arrival and transfer to the Maya Mountain Lodge, an interesting complex made out of thatched cottages where you can listen to the sounds of the jungle and admire the beautiful tropical surrounds. (D) 

Day 2: Maya Mountain Lodge

Visit to the Xunantunich Mayan ruins and the Mountain Pine Ridge, including the Rio Frio Cave, handicraft centre and waterfall. (B,L,D) 

Day 3: Maya Mountain Lodge

Early morning jungle river trip to the Panti Trail of Mayan medicine. Afternoon to relax, take a jungle trail, horseback trail rides, canoe trips or browse in the local shops at San Ignacio. (B,L,D) 

Day 4: Maya Mountain Lodge

Full day tour to the incredible Tikal ruins. (B,L,D) 

Day 5: Maya Mountain Lodge - Belize

Visit the Guanacaste Park, the Belize Zoo and its tropical education centre, before returning to Belize and transfer for onward travel. (B,L)
